Dance & Cheer Fitness in Swansea
Pom poms in hand, 80s bangers on, absolutely zero judgement. At The Kitchen Pilates + Movement in Swansea, cardio isn't a punishment. It is the most fun hour of your week.
Our two dance fitness classes, Cheer & Sweat and Aerobics 80s Style, bring big energy, big laughs and a proper sweat to The Kitchen at Pacific HQ. If you have ever wanted to feel like you are in Bring It On (minus the try-outs and the rival squad), this is your place.
Cheer & Sweat (The Pom Pom)
Cheer & Sweat is a high-energy dance and cheer-inspired workout. Expect simple routines, punchy music, pom poms and a whole lot of team spirit. Moves are broken down step by step, so you never need a dance background. If you go left while everyone goes right, you are still doing it right.
It is cardio that sneaks up on you: you will be grinning so much you won't notice how hard you are working until you are dripping.
Aerobics 80s Style (The Sweatro)
Leg warmers optional, enthusiasm compulsory. The Sweatro is a love letter to the golden age of aerobics, think Jane Fonda energy and Olivia Newton-John telling you to "get physical". Grapevines, step touches, a few high knees and the best playlist of the decade.
It is nostalgic, low on choreography stress and high on joy. A Friday lunchtime class has never felt so good.
Why dance fitness?
Moving to music is one of the simplest ways to make exercise feel less like a chore. Dance-based workouts get your heart rate up, challenge your coordination and balance, and give you a full-body sweat. Most importantly, they are fun, and fun is what keeps you coming back.
At The Kitchen we believe a strong, healthy body is built holistically. Dance sits beautifully alongside our Mat Pilates, Strength & Stretch and Yoga classes, giving your week a balance of strength, cardio and calm.

Dance Fitness FAQ
I have two left feet. Can I still come?
Yes, and you will fit right in. Both classes are designed for women with zero dance experience. Your instructor breaks every move down, and the only real rule is to have fun.
How hard are the classes?
You control the intensity. Make moves bigger and bouncier to work harder, or keep them small and grounded if you need lower impact. Let your instructor know about any injuries before class.
Do I need to be fit already?
Not at all. Come as you are. Lots of women use dance fitness as their way back into exercise because it feels like play, not a test.
